Local artists open studios for annual tour

When the Dallas weather suggests a promise of autumn, the artisans on the White Rock Artists’ Studio Tour are preparing to open their studio doors to art lovers, teachers, students and simply the curious. The annual event is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 11 and 12, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. both days.

Favorite artisans along with recently joined artists will be displaying their wares, demonstrating their craft and discussing art. Family-friendly, the tour is an annual event that is celebrating its 32nd year — the oldest tour in the city. Since March, participants have been planning this event to provide the community the best art-filled experience this fall.
