Luncheon reunites lovers of East Dallas

The Ferguson Road Initiative (FRI) enjoyed seeing loyal supporters Liz and Mel Renfro at this week’s East Dallas Networking (EDN) luncheon. The couple are huge fans of their East Dallas neighbors and its local businesses. Liz is a well-respected real estate agent who has helped families find their perfect home for decades. Mel is a former professional football player who spent his entire 14-year career as a cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys. He is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Ferguson Road Initiative is a grassroots community-based organization working towards a shared mission of improving the neighborhoods. The EDN luncheon takes place every Thursday at noon in JJ’s Café, located at Northwest Hwy. and Ferndale Rd. All are welcome. — From Staff Reports
