Married musicians to take concert stage

By Emily Guthrie

The theme of the Fine Arts Chamber Player’s (FACP) 2021/2022 season, “Family Reunion,” is in full effect for the next Hallam Family Concert on Saturday, Nov. 13.

Husband-and-wife duo Martin and Artina McCain (pictured) will delight the audience with works for piano and bass trombone, celebrating the breadth of American imagination and musical innovation. As always, the concert is free, but space is limited, and registration is required for attendees this season. Attendees must register at FACP.eventbrite.com; the concert will be held at Central Commons (4711 Westside Drive, Dallas 75209). FACP believes everyone deserves unrestricted access to world-class classical music concerts. Programs are #FreeForAll. The artistic talent in North Texas is remarkable: FACP features local musicians and compensates them for their time and talent, but never charges admission. Support from concert attendees, donors, corporations and charitable foundations have made it possible for FACP to offer free classical music programming for 40 years.
