The Meadows Museum will present Dallas’s first exhibition in nearly 30 years dedicated exclusively to the work of Eduardo Chillida (1924-2002), pictured at right, one of Spain’s most celebrated modern sculptors. Sixty-six works of sculpture, drawing, collage, gravitations, graphic works, and a small selection of artists’ books demonstrate the mature phase of Chillida’s career, when he produced some of his best-known works. The exhibition runs Feb. 4–June 3. A complementary exhibition, Chillida in Dallas: De Musica at the Meyerson, explores the artist’s landmark commission for the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. The Meadows Museum is located on the SMU campus at 5900 Bishop Blvd. in Dallas. Free parking available in the Meadows Museum Garage.
