Choose from an assortment of prairie tours on subjects like Pollinators, Wildflowers and Medicinal Plants. Listen to interesting presentations about the history of White Rock Prairie, or the Birds of White Rock Lake, then check out local outdoor-related exhibits where you can learn more about spiders, snakes, native plants and more. Organizers will have nature arts and crafts activities, and children can get hands-on while learning with some cool educational exhibits. Hosted by the Native Prairies Association of Texas and North Texas Master Naturalist, Native Plants and Prairies Day is a celebration of local Blackland Prairies. Prairies are vital resources for plants, insects, birds and mammals who have coevolved together.

The Bath House is located at 521 E. Lawther Dr. in Dallas. Visit ntxnppd.org for more information.
