New year, new trash

The For the Love of the Lake (FTLOTL) office will be open Saturday, Jan. 14 at 8 a.m. to provide supplies for the first Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce-Up event of the new year. The offices are located at 1152 N. Buckner Blvd. Suite #123 in Dallas. This is a drive-thru event. Volunteers will put the supplies needed in either the trunk or back of vehicles to maintain social distancing to the extent possible. The trash grabbers (litter sticks) will be sanitized before being placed in vehicles. While picking up trash in the park, it is strongly encouraged to wear a mask and gloves. Volunteers should return trash grabbers no later than noon.
