Perot ready for event

When the history-making total solar eclipse cloaks Dallas in sudden darkness on April 8, the momentous event will also be an experience the Perot Museum of Nature and Science planned to champion for years. A capacity crowd of thousands of spectators will witness the longest stretch of totality in the largest American city along the path of the eclipse, during the event surrounding the Perot Museum. In anticipation of this unforgettable phenomenon, the Perot Museum has marshaled unparalleled resources, including educators, astronomers and equipment many miles beyond the museum walls in an exceptional effort to spark curiosity in science and enhance the grandeur of the Great North American Eclipse.
