Power of the Pie is back and ready for holiday orders

Pumpkin? Pecan?  Pumpkin bread?  Yes, please! The Visiting Nurse Association’s (VNA) most delicious event, Power of Pie, is here! VNA’s Power of Pie, presented by Interabang Books, is back — and a Thanksgiving dessert can do more than satisfy a sweet tooth. Every pie and loaf helps bring food, friendship and comfort to homebound and seriously ill neighbors. One hundred percent of the proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels and Hospice programs. Pies from incredible bakers around the city, including Empire Baking Company, Central Market, Salum, Crown Block, Sugar and Sage, Cantina La Rosa and many more are available.
