
Dallas United Crew (DUC) recently participated in The Heart of Texas Regatta on Saturday, Feb. 28, and Sunday, March 1. The Heart of Texas Regatta is a USRowing Nationally Recognized Regatta held annually on Lake Bird Lake in Austin, Texas. The two-day event began in 1983. Run primarily by volunteers, The Heart of Texas Regatta is one of the first sprint regattas of the spring. The event includes Masters, Open and Junior events and is held on a seven land, fully buoyed 1,000-meter course with a state-of-the-art starting platform, more than 500 entries and more than 1,000 competitors. DUC participants delivered some impressive results. In the 19 Heats and the 35 Finals from Sunday’s races, DUC produced two first place wins.
