Art on Main is proud to present Women in Art – Revealing Our Magnificence, a juried group exhibition on view now through May 30. Curated by Katherine Baronet, the exhibition celebrates the splendor, expressive range and authentic voices of women artists working across painting, drawing, photography, fiber art, sculpture, printmaking and ceramics. An Opening Reception is on Saturday, May 16 from 5:30-9 p.m. at Art on Main, located at 4428 Main Street, Suite 200, Dallas, TX 75226. The reception will feature live music by members of the East Dallas Uke-A-Ladies during the first hour of the evening, music curated by Dallas-based DJ MISO, and the presentation of the Best in Show award. Women in Art – Revealing Our Magnificence invites artists and viewers alike to reflect on what magnificence means through line, form, color, movement, energy and deeply personal expressions of authenticity. The exhibition explores themes ranging from inner resilience and identity to bold visual statements of beauty, power, and presence. “I want artists to awaken to their innate, authentic selves and reveal magnificence through line, form, color, movement and energy,” Baronet said. The exhibition is intentionally mentorship-focused and inclusive, welcoming women artists of all backgrounds and levels of exhibition experience, particularly those who may be exhibiting in a professional gallery setting for the first time. Through this approach, Art on Main continues its commitment to supporting emerging and established artists while fostering meaningful creative community. — Andrea Lamarsaude
