Support local vendors now, always!

Dallas’ favorite producer-only farmers market organization, Good Local Markets, returns Saturday, March 14 with the White Rock Farmers Market (9150 Garland Road). Held every Saturday through December 19 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Good Local Markets showcases all local produce, meats and eggs, bread and pastries, pickles, jams and specialty foods, as well as local artisans featuring handmade pottery, woodworking, jewelry and more.

All Good Local Vendors are certified local, no resellers or distributors. Good Local Markets requires that vendors come from a 150-mile radius of Dallas and must grow or make their own products. Good Local staff even visits each farm and ranch to ensure locally grown and ethically raised.

In addition to White Rock Farmers Markets occurring on Saturdays, Good Local Markets also has a Sunday location called Lakewood Village Farmers Market (6434 E. Mockingbird Lane), which will be held on March 22 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., and then every Sunday from April-August.

Good Local Markets is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization whose mission is to support local farmers and ranchers, incubate small businesses, increase food access, strengthen the local food movement, and create healthy communities.
