Dallas United Crew (DUC) won 13 out of 26 events at SWEAT (Southwest Ergometer Amateur Tournament) on February 7. The event was held at the Terry Center at Jesuit College Preparatory School. The US Rowing Indoor Open Regatta, hosted by Jesuit College Prep of Dallas, had entrants from Dallas, Fort Worth, Waco, Houston, Frisco, College Station and Little Rock Arkansas. This amazing showing was the result of intense training on campuses throughout the Dallas area. DUC had 325 entries at the event.

Coach Flo Elkins has been training students at St. Philips School and Community Center and at Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy. At these educational institutions, the training last fall and spring lead to students entering their first US Rowing competition.
This is a strong testimonial to the efforts of the coaches, the dedication of the schools and the will and power of the students. DUC is very proud of these results as it continues to fulfill their mission of bringing rowing and dragon boating to the community. The efforts of all involved had positive results for the students, and the community recognizes and appreciates all that has been accomplished.
