101 year old artist part of annual show

CC Young announced the winners of the 19th annual Spirit is Ageless Art & Writing Contest from a pool of competitors, all aged 55 and better, with the most senior participant at 101 years of age. The Awards & Celebration event was held Saturday, April 21, at The Point & Pavilion on the CC Young campus. The event recognized every participating artist, and awards were given to the top three winners in 19 categories, as well as two Best in Show and the Celebrating Ageless Creativity award for most senior participant in the show.

The 2018 contest saw 189 submissions from 135 participants in more than 19 categories. Art submitted will be on display in CC Young’s gallery at The Point & Pavilion through Sunday, April 29 for the public to view and enjoy.
