The celebration will be accompanied by harp and cello music, along with a fine array of seasonal refreshments. Bourgeois is perhaps best known locally for his delightful Twelve Days of Christmas installation at the Dallas Arboretum. He’s also a long-time properties designer and costume design consultant for The Dallas Opera. Bourgeois will be present for guided tours of the crèches and a discussion of his methods and inspirations. Harpist Alison Read and cellist Vilma Peguero will provide the accompaniment.
Presented by St. Matthew’s Cathedral Arts as part of its 14th season of fine performing and visual arts events, this beautiful occasion is free and open to the community.
Historic St. Matthew’s Cathedral is located at 5100 Ross Avenue, between North Henderson and Garrett Avenue. Adjacent covered parking is free. For more details, visit cathedralartsdallas.org or email info@cathedralartsdallas.org.
