Crowley gets to root of problems

Local White Rock Lake Physical Therapist Stefani Crowley (pictured), owner of mPower Physical Therapy, has written her first book. “Regaining Hope — The Secret Guide to Hitting Pain from All Angles to Get Back to Living Life” came out of Crowley’s frustration with the United States’ healthcare system in treating symptoms and not getting to the root of the problem. In her book, Crowley writes about all the ways humans feel pain, and shares personal and patient stories so others can understand, and manage, their pain better. Crowley is hosting a book signing party on Tuesday, Sept. 19 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at her offices, mPower Physical Therapy.
