The Central Youth Championships isn’t just any regatta — it’s a high-stakes regional showdown that draws the top rowing teams from across the central United States. Held at the impressive Oklahoma City Riversport venue, the competition is fierce, with athletes giving it their all in time trials and finals.
The top three of each National Qualifying event secure their bid for the National Championship in June.
DUC was out in full force, launching 62 boats and collecting an incredible 99 medals across multiple events.
This victory isn’t just for the athletes — it’s a win for Dallas and the White Rock Lake community. It shows what’s possible when young people are given the space, structure and support to push their limits. DUC is proud to make rowing more accessible and inclusive, and to help keep White Rock Lake a vibrant center for sport and community connection.
Anyone can try rowing this summer at Dallas United Crew’s 5-day Learn to Row Camp. No prior experience needed. Visit duc.org for more information.
