Partnerships show dedication to inclusion

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden celebrates LGBTQ+ Pride Month with the return of its fourth annual Pride in Bloom celebration on Saturday, June 21. Dallas’ only Pride event set in a world-class botanical garden, Pride in Bloom centers LGBTQ+ creatives — where artisans, guests and performers aren’t just seen but celebrated.

Previously a daytime-only, two-day event, Pride in Bloom returns as a reimagined day-to-night experience. The 2025 edition invites guests to spend the day enjoying activities designed for the whole family, then return or stay into the evening for a concert-style celebration geared for guests 18 and up.

The curated artisan market will again take place in Rosine Hall, featuring food, drinks, art, apparel and handcrafted goods. Outdoors, guests can enjoy lively music, colorful photo ops and a dazzling vintage car display by the Classic Chassis Car Club of Dallas — all set against 66 acres of gardens overlooking White Rock Lake.

Gary Sanchez, chair of the 2025 Pride in Bloom Committee, said: “Pride in Bloom is about creating a space where everyone feels welcomed, celebrated and inspired. The Arboretum offers a stunning backdrop for showcasing the creativity of LGBTQ+ artisans, chefs and performers — and expanding the event into a full-day celebration lets us connect with more people across generations and backgrounds.”

Dustin Miller, vice president of programs and learning at the Dallas Arboretum, added: “Pride is essential to the garden — not just during Pride in Bloom, but all year long. From our vendor markets and entertainment to our community partnerships and board leadership, we are proud to be a garden for all.”

Pride in Bloom continues to grow as a purpose-driven platform, supported by more than two dozen community partners who share the Arboretum’s commitment to celebrating and supporting the LGBTQ+ community. These partnerships reflect a shared dedication to inclusion, visibility and meaningful engagement across a range of sectors.
