The incident of a drone disturbing the eagles’ nest at White Rock Lake on April 6, 5:30 p.m. disturbed readers. Entering the space of 660 feet from the nest is not allowed by humans or their devices. The Dallas Police (DPD) found the April 6 drone operator right away, “educated” him and referred the incident to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens assigned to Dallas County. DPD then developed a plan to discourage and prevent future aerial intrusions of the eagles’ space. Eagle watchers can learn more about the progress of the three eaglets every Thursday at the Stone Tables. City of Dallas Urban Biologist Chris Morris holds a conservation conversation with the public at 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The Stone Tables are located at 553 E. Lawther Dr. in Dallas. — Patricia Gaffney
