Good Local Markets kicks off White Rock Farmers Market’s 11th season on Saturday, March 9 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at 9150 Garland Road in Dallas. This season, Good Local Markets will be doubling SNAP/EBT dollars, increasing healthy food access for SNAP users. SNAP/EBT users will be able to slide their card at the farmers market and will then be matched up to an additional $20 worth of market tokens to be used on fresh produce at the market. “Good Local Markets believes that everyone should be able to enjoy locally grown, fresh picked, nutritious produce,” Casey Cutler, director of Good Local Markets, said. — Amity Thomas
