“As we strive to ‘Go for the Gold’ in 2024, the Spirit Is Ageless Art & Writing Contest perfectly embodies our commitment to whole-person wellness – Body, Mind & Spirit,” Brian Parman, director of The Point & Pavilion at CC Young, said. “Many people in our community discover new talents and creative endeavors later in life, and this annual event celebrates those artistic expressions, proving that age is truly just a number!”

Since 1999, the Spirit is Ageless Art & Writing Contest has been a unique popular cultural event for the Dallas-Fort Worth and CC Young communities.

The annual contest, art gallery show and public celebration of artists and writers has served to unite the North Texas area in highlighting original works of art in 14 categories, showcasing each participant’s ageless artistry, ability to grow and thrive, and willingness to share their creativity and talents with the public, regardless of one’s stature.

All levels of talent are welcome to participate.
