Annual tradition comes to Mockingbird Station

Bach is back! Mockingbird Station welcomes Bach in the Subways, a derivative of the Mockingbird Station Summer Music Series, for a special concert featuring music from famous musician Johann Sebastian Bach in collaboration with WRR Classical 101, Friends of WRR,  KERA, University Crossing, featuring performances by Lone Star Wind Orchestra and the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra.  In celebration of Bach’s 341st birthday, orchestras will join thousands of musicians across the world on Thursday, March 26 at 7 p.m. for the annual tradition of performing Bach in public — subways, parks, cafés, zoos and other public spaces — while declining donations. Seating is limited, so guests are encouraged to bring along their own chairs or blankets. Complimentary sub sandwiches will be provided by Jimmy’s Food Store.
