White Rock Lake Weekly reader Lisa Lewis Hamilton recently found a long-lost family photo from the 1940s. Here is what she said about the priceless family memory: “My uncle, Mack, was home on leave from the Navy and the family was having a get together at White Rock Lake. My dad, Richard, is also in uniform but he was wearing Mack’s extra uniform. Daddy was in the Army and wasn’t old enough until 1952. As you can tell by grandpa’s (Omer) tie, they were having a rip-snortin’ ol’ time!”
