Lakewood Brewing Company (LBC) opened its doors in North Texas six years ago, and is throwing a huge celebration party for the community. Everyone is invited to Lakewood’s Taproom & Beer Garden on Saturday, Aug. 4 from Noon to 8 p.m. to enjoy a full day of beer, food, games and live entertainment. Performing on stage in the Beer Garden are the bands One Fret Off from noon-3 p.m. and Red Morning Light from 4-6 p.m. Food trucks will be lined up and ready to serve good eats: Little Red Pie Shack Neapolitan style pizza, Ruthie’s Rolling Cafe (Grilled cheese sandwiches from 12-6 p.m.) and Rockn’ Rick’s Cajun/American infusion.
Tickets can be purchased online for $25 general admission, which includes a souvenir tasting glass and six 5 oz. pours. Additional sampling cards will be available for purchase. Not drinking? Designated driver tickets are $10 at the door, which includes entry into the party and soft drinks, but no beer — thank you for getting everyone home safe.
