The SPCA of Texas will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Strut Your Mutt, The Race to End Animal Cruelty, which features a 3K fun walk, Saturday, April 12, at Fair Park (3809 Grand Avenue, Dallas, 75210). Day of Event registration begins at 7 a.m. at Big Tex Circle, with the walk starting at 8 a.m. Registration is open online now at gostrut.org. “Strut Your Mutt is a fun, family event and also raises much-needed dollars that allow the SPCA of Texas to care for abused animals by rehabilitating and reintroducing them to society as adoptable pets,” said SPCA of Texas president and CEO Chris Luna, JD. Registration cost for the 3K walk is $35; kids age 11 and under are free. Participants can register individually or as a team at gostrut.org, and will receive a goody bag filled with a Strut T-shirt, pet bandana, dog toy and dog treats. Participants are encouraged to bring their furry friends to walk along with them. Food trucks will be on site along with other festivities and fun like a Bow Wow Bazaar featuring a variety of vendors that cater to animals and their humans.
