Buildings prepare to go blue with hope

It is time to kick off the Honor Our Heroes Campaign and Light Up Downtown Dallas for 2021! 

Participants do this to honor, celebrate and thank our local heroes: police, fire-rescue, military and, again this year, healthcare workers. 

The steadfast support from businesses and residents for this campaign symbolizes the hope, gratitude and respect the community has for these admired citizens serving the City of Dallas. Local buildings and businesses are invited to Light Up Beautiful Downtown Dallas on these special days to thank, support and celebrate our local heroes.

• Sat., May 15, National Peace Officers Memorial Day, Light Up Downtown Blue

• Mon., May 31, Memorial Day, Light Up Downtown Red/White/Blue

• Sun., July 4, Independence Day, Light Up Downtown Red/White/Blue

• Wed., July 7, Remembrance of #DallasFive Fallen Officers, Light Up Downtown Blue

• Thurs., Nov 11, Veterans Day, Light Up Downtown Red/White/Blue.
