Businesses to battle for ‘Best Branded Bay’

The Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce will host its inaugural East Dallas Chamber Classic on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 2–6 p.m. at TopGolf located at 8787 Park Lane in Dallas. The event brings together business leaders, entrepreneurs, community partners and local supporters for an afternoon of golf, networking and celebration.

The event, themed “Tee Off for East Dallas,” is designed to be more than a golf tournament. It is the Chamber’s newest signature fundraising event and will help fund the organization’s 2027 strategic initiatives, including expanded programming, enhanced membership resources and efforts to strengthen the economic vitality of the East Dallas business community.

“We wanted to create an event that reflects the spirit of East Dallas — business, community and connection,” Megan Dennen, CEO of the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce, said. “The Chamber Classic gives our members and supporters an opportunity to have fun together while investing directly in the programs and resources that help local businesses thrive.”

The event will feature a bay-style golf tournament with teams of six, along with food and drinks, an official awards ceremony, raffle prizes and a Best Business Branded Bay Decoration Contest. Teams will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity by decorating their TopGolf bay with their business branding, with guests voting for their favorite throughout the event.

The tournament begins at 2 p.m., with the awards presentation scheduled for 5 p.m.

“We see the Chamber Classic as an opportunity for businesses to do what East Dallas businesses do best — show up, connect and support one another,” Rheanna Avila, chairperson of the board for the Chamber, said. “Whether you’re playing with your team, entertaining clients, sponsoring the event or simply coming out to network, everyone has a role in making this event a success.”

The Chamber is also offering a range of member sponsorship opportunities designed to provide businesses with visibility while supporting the Chamber. Sponsorship benefits include branded event placements, recognition across Chamber marketing channels, premium bay locations and opportunities for businesses to engage directly with attendees. In addition, businesses and community members can participate by donating raffle items or other in-kind contributions. Raffle proceeds will directly support the Chamber’s 2027 programming initiatives.

There is limited availability for each sponsorship and attendee option, so the Chamber encourages businesses to register early.
