Chamber asks community to vote

Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its annual Business of the Year Awards. There are five categories for consideration, and each nominee will be placed in the appropriate category that fits their criteria. Once nominations are received, each nominee will receive a form to fill out for more detailed information for consideration. All nominations must be submitted online at eastdallaschamber.com. The deadline for nominations is July 23. Winners will be announced August 9 and will be honored at a luncheon at the Lakewood Country Club on August 20. Nominees do not have to be Chamber members. A list of past winners is also available on the website. The award categories are: Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Chairman’s Award, Live Local Award and the R. S. Munger Business Pioneer Award. — Deborah Brown
