Garden Tour to benefit lake group

Every year, a group of neighbors put on an incredible one-day event to raise funds for the community and showcase the beauty of the east side of White Rock Lake. The White Rock East Garden Tour on Sunday, May 19 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. gives visitors the opportunity to explore nine unique gardens, the art and crafts of more than 40 artisans and a plant sale that verges on legendary — think perennials, grasses, herbs, succulents and ornamental trees, some of which are hard to find anywhere else. Come see what your hard-working neighbors from Forest Hills, Little Forest Hills and Casa Linda Estates have poured their hearts and souls into. This year’s proceeds benefit For the Love of The Lake.
