The 2024 Business of the Year Winners have been selected by the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce. The awards will be given at a luncheon on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at Lakewood Country Club located at 6430 Gaston Avenue. Networking and check-in starts at 11:30 a.m. with the program and luncheon at noon. The program ends promptly at 1 p.m. Chamber members are $40, guests are $45, and a table for eight is $320. Tickets may be purchased online at eastdallaschamber.com. The winners are: Business of the Year — Half Price Books; Chairman’s Award — Comerica BusinessHQ; Entrepreneur Award — Stroudrosa BBQ; Live Local Award — Maya’s Modern Mediterranean, Mosquito Shield of North Dallas, Yard Card Queen — East Dallas; R.S. Munger Business Pioneer Award — East Dallas Arts District; People’s Choice — Hello Dumpling; People’s Choice Runners Up — Christian Brothers and Dallas Piano Academy. — Deborah Brown
