Celebrate 30 years of the iconic “Mambo Taxi” with Mi Cocina’s inaugural family-friendly race, the “Mambo Miles” Two-Mile Fundraiser at Klyde Warren Park on Sunday, July 11 from 8 a.m.-noon. Run, walk or stroll two miles to the finish line and be greeted with a Mambo Miles finishers medal and legendary frozen margarita in a souvenir glass (for those 21+). The party continues with live music from the Selena tribute band, Bidi Bidi Banda, plus food trucks, family activities and more (more margaritas, that is!).
