New safety headquarters focuses on Uptown

With new Dallas Police Chief Daniel Comeaux and other dignitaries in attendance on June 3, Uptown Dallas, Inc. (UDI) leaders introduced the community to a new space focused on ensuring Uptown remains the most vibrant and safe live/work/play community in the city. Opening in July at McKinney and Pearl Street, Uptown Dallas Inc. Safety Headquarters will be a dedicated operations hub designed to elevate how the nonprofit manages safety and security across the district. The headquarters will be built out to connect, respond and work alongside its partners, businesses, the Dallas Police and the Uptown Dallas Safety team to keep Uptown thriving. Strategically located on the opposite end of Uptown from UDI’s main office, this space extends the organization’s reach and gives more presence and extra eyes and ears on the ground.
