Pride in Bloom returns to garden

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden celebrates LGBTQ+ Pride Month with the return of the third annual Pride in Bloom celebration presented by Polestar Grapevine on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event returns with a weekend highlighting local LGBTQ+ artisans, entertainers, chefs and small businesses. Pride in Bloom kicks off Summer at the Arboretum: Endless Summer featuring 150 colorful hammocks for people to relax in at the Pecan Grove. Guests are invited to shop items at the curated vendor market, where various items will be sold, including pastries and desserts, food and drinks, jewelry, handcrafted home décor and apparel and art. The market will be held both Saturday and Sunday inside Rosine Hall. Entrance to Pride in Bloom is included with paid general garden admission. Tickets, which range from $10 to $16, are required and can be purchased online at dallasarboretum.org or by calling 214-515-6615. On June 8 and 9, admission is free to the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden as a part of Kelley Family Days offering access to the community with the purchase of a garden ticket. — Sydney Manchester
