The Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce will partner with EDENS and Casa Linda Plaza for the annual tree lighting and holiday party. The celebration is on Thursday, Nov. 30 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Casa Linda Plaza, located at Buckner Boulevard and Garland Road. The tree lighting will occur at 7:15 p.m. The event is organized by the Live Local Committee of the Chamber. There will be food and gift specials throughout the center and activities for kids, including Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus with reindeer and petting zoo, photos taken with Santa, local choirs singing, train rides, an ice arena, balloon artists, face painting, local food, drinks and hot chocolate.
