Santa’s ready for pick up

This year marks the sixth FaLaLa Lakewood Christmas Toy Drive. But it’s not just any toy drive. It’s a parade that travels through the Lakewood streets, collecting thousands of toys. Almost a reverse toy drive, if you will! Santa and his elves will drive through Lakewood on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 2-5:30 p.m., collecting toys from front yards and loading them up into Santa’s sleigh to benefit the children (and their non-offending family members) Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center will serve this holiday season. Last year alone, FaLaLa Lakewood generated $80,000 in combined in-kind and monetary donations. Contributing to an impressive cumulative total of $315,000.
