Signatures needed for name change petition

Calling all neighbors! Signatures are needed for a petition at Harry Stone Recreation Center to have a room named in honor of Ms. Jon. Ms. Jon (pictured above watching her students) was a dedicated dance teacher at the center since 1985 until the time of her passing this year. For nearly four decades, she nurtured generations of dancers, instilling discipline, confidence and a love of the arts. Ms. Jon generously volunteered for countless community events, from Egg Hunts to Halloween Festivals to Back-to-School Fairs and Open Houses. Renaming the dance room in her honor ensures her legacy of service, excellence and inspiration continues to uplift the community for generations to come. The new name proposed is Ms. Jon Fewell’s Legacy Dance Studio. Harry Stone Recreation Center is located at 2403 Millmar Dr. in Dallas.
