Summit focuses on finding opportunities

The Greater East Dallas Chamber’s 18th Annual Economic Summit presented by CC Young was held October 18 at the Lakewood Country Club. Combining the community’s dedication to education, growth and development, this year’s summit centered around the theme “Flip Your Script: Finding Opportunity and Adventure Everywhere.” Featured speakers for the sold-out event were Councilmembers Paula Blackmon, Adam McGough and Paul Ridley; Steve Brown, from The Dallas Morning News; Dan Micciche, Dallas ISD Trustee; and keynote speaker Lila Stewart, co-founder of Hari Mari.
