A $10,000 check from EDENS and GEDCC was presented to founder/owner Natalie Huscheck who was caught off guard by the substantial gift and could not conceal her emotions.

EDENS and Casa Linda Plaza, in collaboration with the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce and the Live Local committee, created an amazing evening for the community to ring in the holidays. The shopping center transformed into a winter wonderland this past Monday evening for the Casa Linda Tree Lighting. Children threw real snowballs, got their face painted, rode a holiday train around the parking lot and, of course, had their pictures snapped with Mr. and Mrs. Clause. Local choirs performed holiday favorites before the countdown to lighting the tree. Afterward, Well Grounded Coffee Community was awarded $10,000 from the proceeds to support its mission to transform lives through a process of work, education, community and faith.
